Wait: BRANDS ON FIRE - the emerging brand TTSWTRS unveils its new SS19 collection
The emerging brand TTSWTRS officially unveils its spring/summer 2019 collection full of graphics. For its latest line, the Ukrainian label debuts in an experimental range filled with silk booths, mesh overalls and coats of utilitarian inspiration.
TTSWTRS (Tatto Sweaters) considers clothing a second skin and tattoos as the only real way to decorate it. The baseline for each new collection is the work of acclaimed tattoo artists from around the world. Prints and embroidery are applied to every object with anatomical precision.
The history of TTSWTRS began five years ago and over the years has collaborated with ten talented tattoo artists. The creative director and founder of the brand is Anna Osmekhina, a practicing costume designer and a celebrity stylist. The brand has high product quality requirements and its sewing and printing production is based in Kiev, Ukraine.
Right from the first collection TTSWTRS was immediately sold at Colette, the iconic concept store in Paris, with a sold out of all the products in just one week. Since the second collection, the brand has also started selling in Japan.
Also this collection follows the collaboration with various tattoo artists, whose designs are accentuated by the work of Arnest Makhin, Rostislav Tsarenko and Andrey Svetov. Each artist brings his own stylistic aesthetics to the collection which includes drawings, graphic images and Cyrillic inscriptions. Prominent selections in the range include sweaters, jackets, trousers, jeans and much more.
